my recent stay was better than my last trip to london. the location was super convenient, just a short walk from paddington station. breakfast was really enjoyable with a proper full english that got my day off to a great start.

The initial experience was quite frustrating, as we struggled to get in because the main door was locked with no staff around to assist us. The room had old furniture that felt unwelcoming, and the shower was disappointingly cold. Despite these issues, the location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, which is a plus. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations due to several maintenance problems.

Too hot to handle

So, I had a pretty rough stay. Rooms were super hot with no AC, and the staff seemed kinda overwhelmed. I had to switch to a single room last minute but got charged the same as the twin. Breakfast was decent though, which was a plus. Could’ve used more help with my bags when I left.

The staff was incredibly friendly and even though we were in a bit of a bind with a leaking shower they were quick to help and kind about everything and the breakfast was surprisingly good and filling especially on those cold mornings we needed some warmth
